SP@in (or SP64in) uses various open source tools to hide an email address under a generic text.
To view the email address, the user needs to click the generic text and fill in a CAPTCHA field in the tooltip that appears.
A second click is required to submit the CAPTCHA and only if it validates the generic text will be replaced by the real email address.
All of these operations are extremely hard to fake if your a spam bot, ensuring a high degree of security for emails addresses embedded on a Web page.
Additionally a cookie stores if the user has successfully filled in the CAPTCHA field and will never prompt him again in the future.
